PlayStation Play At Home
Hello guys and welcome to the Gaming News for 09 Oct 2021. 60 million games have now been redeemed as part of the PlayStation Play at Home initiative. That initiative was set up by PlayStation during the Pandemic to help gamers get through it. They gave out a bunch of free games. 60 million games redeemed is a huge number. Thank you to PlayStation for supporting us during the pandemic.
GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition
The next bit of news for today is Grand Theft Auto The Trilogy - Definite Edition has now been officially announced by Rockstar Games. They released a trailer about it yesterday. It's just a teaser trailer. It's like 20 something seconds long. It just has the announcement and the old music from Grand Theft Auto 3, but it's to show that it's a real thing. It's not just a rumor anymore and hopefully we'll get our hands on it sooner than later. Apparently it will feature modern gameplay. Hopefully it's not just a remaster of PlayStation 2 games. They will actually try and spice up at least a little bit, but we have to wait and see.
Honkai: Star Rail Announced
And then the last bit of news for today is miHoYo, who is the developer behind Genshin Impact has announced a new project called Honkai Star Rail. It's going to be based in the Honkai Impact universe and Closed Beta Access has started as of yesterday. We will see when more details comes out about it. Like I said in my previous videos, I did play a lot of Genshin Impact. I did really enjoy it at the time, but I felt it was spoiled by the cash shop. We will see what they do with Honkai Star Rail in the future. Anyway guys, that's it for the Gaming News for today. Thank you to all the new followers coming on to the feed as always and I will see you tomorrow. Thanks guys. Bye bye.
