Deathloop Director Becomes Studio Head
Deathloop's Director Dinga Bakaba has now been named as a new Studio Director of Arkane Lyon. It follows the departure of the former director. And I'll say good luck. Arkane in the past have made games like Prey, obviously Deathloop and so on. They make high quality games. It will be interesting to see what game they come up with next.
Amazon Game Sale
The next bit of news for today is Amazon.com are doing a 3 for 2 offer across many departments, but that includes video games, which is what we care the most about on this channel. You can take a look at it if you use Amazon.com regularly and you can see games on there like Call of Duty Vanguard or Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, which I would highly recommend or FF7 Remake Intergrade. There's a whole list of really great games listed on there, so take advantage while you can. And I wish it was on Amazon UK.
Forza Horizon 5 Launch
And then the last bit of news for today is Forza Horizon 5 has now fully launched and it's been the biggest launch of a Forza Horizon Game and even an Xbox game ever. Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox tweeted out saying "We've invested for years in Xbox so more people can play with 4.5+ million players so far across PC, cloud and console, Forza Horizon 5 shows that promise coming to life. Largest launch day for XGS game. Peak concurrent three times higher than Forza Horizon 4. Thank you players and congrats to the developers." If you're interested, be sure to try Forza Horizon 5. If you have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, you might already be able to play it. You might not need to buy it separately if you want to play on PC. Good news is good news, and competition is always a good thing in any space.
