Hey everyone, welcome to another edition of the daily gaming news. Here I'll be discussing all the latest goings-on in the gaming industry, from new releases to game announcements and everything in between. So without further ado, let's get started!
Xbox Indie Stream
Xbox is going to be hosting a live stream on the 16 Mar 2022 to show a few indie games. And they released a blog post which details which games it's going to be featuring and talking about it's going to be be hosted over on Twitch and also as well, it's going to be at 10 a.m. PT, which right now is 5 p.m. UK time.
FromSoftware Poor Conditions
And that the next bit of news for today is apparently employees FromSoftware, who is the developer behind Elden Ring, have been complaining of poor working conditions and low pay. Looking at the website careerconnection.jp, it has an average score of just 2.6 out of 5, with former employees and current employees complaining about what their experience of the company is. And they have reported an average salary of 3.4 million Yen, which is about $26,000 or £19,000, which would barely qualify as minimum wage in the UK. Hopefully, with the enormous success of Elden Ring, they can improve the compensation they give to their developers.
Stranger of Paradise Release
And the last bit of news for today is Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin will be entering early access tomorrow, and you're able to jump in straight away with the demo if you want to experience the first three or four missions of the game.
