Hey everyone, welcome to another edition of the daily gaming news. Here I'll be discussing all the latest goings-on in the gaming industry, from new releases to game announcements and everything in between. So without further ado, let's get started!
Steam Deck Windows Update
Lawrence Yang who is an engineer at Valve, tweeted out saying "Hello to all Steam Deck and Windows enthusiasts. We've just updated the APU driver for Windows on Steam Deck to address issues with Halo Infinite and other titles that have regressed recently. New driver can be found here." This was in regards to Windows based programs and games, which were not working 100% well on the Steam Deck but hopefully this driver update would have fixed it.
Assassins Creed Remake
And the next bit of news for today is there's hints or rumors of a potential Assassin's Creed Remake or Remaster that's in regards to the first Assassin's Creed game. Right now there's the Assassin's Creed 15th Anniversary that's going on and as part of the roadmap, it has been revealed that a new announcement for Assassin's Creed will be happening in September. We will see if there's more news about it. I'll be sure to report on the Gaming News if there is.
The Last of Us Part 2 Anniversary
And the last bit of news for today is, it's now been two years since The Last of Us Part 2 was released and it was a very decisive release. It led to a lot of anger and a lot of hatred from a lot of players. Some people did some really interesting reviews of the game, including videogamedunkey and Girlfriend Reviews, which I would recommend to check out. I still consider the first The Last of Us game to be one of the greatest games ever made. I have not reviewed The Last of Us Part 2 because even after two years it's too painful to talk about for me, as simple as that. It brings up too many negative emotions, so I won't. But I would recommend to check it out because the unfortunate side of life is that you need to take the good with the bad.
Conclusion
That's all for my roundup of the latest gaming news. What do you think? Are any of these stories big deals in your opinion? Let me know by leaving a comment on the video. And don't forget to check back tomorrow for more exciting gaming news!
