Introduction

Hey everyone, welcome to another edition of the daily gaming news. Here I'll be discussing all the latest goings-on in the gaming industry, from new releases to game announcements and everything in between. So without further ado, let's get started!

The Division Resurgence Announced

Ubisoft have announced The Division Resurgence, which is going to be a mobile game based in The Division universe. I am a big fan of The Division as a series so I am looking forward to this. I hope that it's not filled to the absolute brim with microtransactions like Diablo Immortal was that launched recently.

God of War Ragnarok Release Date

And the next bit of news for today is PlayStation have announced the release date for God of War Ragnarok. It will be launching on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on the 09 Nov 2022. They also revealed an unboxing video for the Collector's and Jotnar editions of the game, which will be available for preorder from the 15 Jul 2022, just over a week from now. If you're looking forward to it then we won't have to wait much longer to play the game.

Forspoken Delayed

And the last bit of news for today is Forspoken has been delayed again. Square Enix have released a statement which says "As a result of ongoing discussions with key partners, we have made the strategic decision to move the launch date of Forspoken to the 24 Jan 2023. All game elements are now complete and development is in its final polishing phase. We would like to thank you for your continued support and patience on this journey. Your excitement for the game inspires us to every day and we cannot wait to share more about Forspoken with you later this summer." As I've said many times on the Gaming News, more time for polish is a good thing in all game development. I applaud Square Enix for making that decision because my understanding is that they want Forspoken to actually become a new franchise like Final Fantasy for example. They have to make sure the first game launches well. When there's more information about Forspoken, I'll be sure to report on the Gaming News.

Conclusion
