The Creative Director of WB Games Montreal has confirmed Batman is really dead in Gotham Knights, YouTube Channel Biohazard Espana is working on a Resident Evil 4 Demake, and Ys VIII will be releasing on PS5 on 15 Nov 2022.

Resident Evil 4 Demake

YouTube channel Biohazard Espana has created quite an intriguing project for fans of Resident Evil 4. They have developed a demake version of the game intended for the original PlayStation console. While it's still a work in progress, the channel recently uploaded a video showcasing the first 10 minutes of gameplay for this unique demake. If you're a fan of the Resident Evil series or simply interested in seeing how Resident Evil 4 would look like on the PlayStation 1, this is definitely worth checking out. Surprisingly, the demake is impressively well-made and captures the essence of the original game despite the limitations of the older hardware.

The demake is not an official release by Capcom but rather a fan-made project. It's always fascinating to see how dedicated fans can create such remarkable content that harkens back to the nostalgic era of gaming. The Biohazard Espana team has clearly put a lot of effort and passion into this demake, and it's great to see their love for the Resident Evil franchise shining through.

Resident Evil 4 originally launched in 2005 for the Nintendo GameCube and garnered critical acclaim for its innovative gameplay mechanics and intense atmosphere. The game was later released on various platforms, including PlayStation 2, Xbox 360, and PC. Known for its over-the-shoulder perspective and action-packed gameplay, Resident Evil 4 revolutionized the survival horror genre and remains a beloved title among gamers.

Ys VIII PS5 Release

In other gaming news, fans of the Ys series will be pleased to know that Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana is set to be released on PlayStation 5 on November 15, 2022. Developed by Nihon Falcom, Ys VIII is an action RPG that follows the story of Adol Christin, an adventurer who finds himself on a deserted island after a shipwreck. The game offers a thrilling and immersive experience as players navigate through the island, face off against dangerous enemies, and discover the mysteries it holds.

What makes Ys VIII truly special is its focus on efficiency. Unlike many RPGs where players often find themselves engaged in repetitive or pointless tasks, Ys VIII ensures that every action you take and every item you collect contributes directly to your goal of escaping the island. This level of coherence and purpose in gameplay is rarely seen and sets Ys VIII apart from its counterparts.

Having personally played through the entire game, I can attest to its quality and enjoyment. The engaging story, well-designed combat system, and beautiful visuals make Ys VIII an unforgettable experience. If you own a PlayStation 5 and are a fan of action RPGs, I highly recommend giving this game a try when it releases later this year.

Batman Is Really Dead in Gotham Knights

Moving on to comic book-inspired gaming news, fans of the Batman franchise are eagerly anticipating the release of Gotham Knights, an upcoming action role-playing game developed by WB Games Montreal. However, some shocking news was revealed during a recent ComicCon panel.

Patrick Redding, the Creative Director at WB Games Montreal, confirmed that Batman is indeed dead in the world of Gotham Knights. This revelation has sparked much speculation among fans as to how the game's story will unfold without the presence of the iconic Dark Knight. While details remain scarce, Redding did drop a tantalizing hint, stating, "I will not confirm or deny whether Harley [Quinn] is [dead]."

These statements from Redding have ignited theories and discussions about the potential involvement of Harley Quinn in Gotham Knights. Could she play a pivotal role in the game's storyline? Only time will tell. Fans will have to wait a little longer as Gotham Knights is scheduled for release in the coming months.

Gotham Knights offers an exciting opportunity for players to step into the shoes of the Bat-Family, including Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin, as they protect Gotham City in Batman's absence. The game promises an immersive open-world environment, challenging combat mechanics, and an engaging narrative that explores the aftermath of Batman's death.

As fans eagerly await the release of Gotham Knights, the confirmation of Batman's demise has only heightened the anticipation. With the possibility of seeing Harley Quinn in the game, players will undoubtedly be pulled deeper into the mysterious world of Gotham City.
