Hey everyone, welcome to another edition of the daily gaming news. Here I'll be discussing all the latest goings-on in the gaming industry, from new releases to game announcements and everything in between. So without further ado, let's get started!
Gotham Knights First Gameplay
IGN have uploaded the first 16 minutes of gameplay of Gotham Knights. It's based after the opening cut scene, which they're gonna keep a secret for now. The gameplay centers around Bat Girl while she investigates the disappearance of a scientist. If you're interested in the game then be sure to check it out ahead of its release.
MultiVersus Concurrent Players
The next bit of news for today is MultiVersus which is a 2D fighter game by WB Games is doing incredibly well looking at Steam. It's based in the DC universe with a lot of the classic DC characters making an appearance. And according to SteamDB it's peaking at about 140,000 to 150,000 players every single day, which is almost unheard of in the fighting game genre.
Project L Free to Play
The last bit of news for today is the League of Legends Fighting game, which is currently in development by Riot Games, code named Project L has been confirmed to be free to play. They have said as well that they will respect the players time and also their wallets. Hopefully, the monetization won't be too harsh. Riot Games have successfully done free to play games for a long time now. They have a lot of experience. I wish them all the luck with their fighting game when it comes out.
