Hey everyone, welcome to another edition of the daily gaming news. Here I'll be discussing all the latest goings-on in the gaming industry, from new releases to game announcements and everything in between. So without further ado, let's get started!
Gotham Knights goes Gold
WB Games Montreal has announced that Gotham Knights has gone Gold. What that means is the game is in a stable enough condition to be able to be burned to a master disc and then sold. Congratulations to the WB Games Montreal Team and I'm looking forward to jumping into the game in October.
Diablo 4 Monetization Explained
The next bit of news for today is Kegan Clark, who is the Director of Diablo 4 has explained that while the game will have a cosmetic shop and a Season Pass, there won't be any element to the Monetization where you'll be able to increase your power by paying money. There was a lot of criticism of Diablo Immortal exactly for that reason. Hopefully Diablo 4 will not launch with anything like that.
FFXIV 6.2 Patch Notes
And the last bit of news for today is Square Enix has just posted the FFXIV Preliminary Patch Notes for Patch 6.2. It will include nearly everything if you want to read through it, but there are some things that they will hold back until the maintenance before the patch comes out. If you want to read through it, if you want to be super prepared for the patch. Personally, I just like to wing it when it launches.
