Hey everyone, welcome to another edition of the daily gaming news. Here I'll be discussing all the latest goings-on in the gaming industry, from new releases to game announcements and everything in between. So without further ado, let's get started!

Cyberpunk 2077 Popularity

Since the release of the Edgerunners update and also the Edgerunners Anime on Netflix, Cyberpunk 2077 has seen some of its highest concurrent players ever. It's great that CD Projekt Red has not given up on the game and they are constantly updating it. I am looking forward to jumping into it soon.

Final Fantasy 16 New Trailer Soon

The next bit of news for today is Naoki Yoshida, otherwise known as Yoshi P, gave an update on Final Fantasy 16 development during the Tokyo Game Show in which he stated that the game is very nearly done and a new trailer will be coming out during Oct 2022. When we can get our hands on it and see what they have worked on in the last few months, then I'll be sure to share it on the Gaming News.

Massive GTA 6 Leak

And the last bit of news for today is apparently there was a massive leak of Grand Theft Auto 6 gameplay via videos and images. It's been picked up by pretty much all the big Gaming News outlets. As with all leaks, I would say take it with a grain of salt. I won't show any of the leaked footage because I want to respect the developers and early indications are even if they are real, the game is still a couple of years away. I will simply wait patiently until I can actually play it.
