According to a report on Sky News, EA Sports and the Premier League are close to signing a near £500m deal that will see EA Sports retain their position as the lead video game sponsor of the league. The deal is said to be worth more than double the previous 6 year deal that EA Sports signed with the Premier League. What it will mean is that they will continue to be able to use real clubs and players in their games.
