The next bit of news for today is Capcom have reported that the removal of Ray Tracing from Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 Remake on Steam is actually a bug that they are looking to fix. You can't enable them in the options right now but hopefully sooner than later they'll be able to restore it to the games.
