Larian Studios have offered a workaround for the missing Xbox save files for Baldur's Gate 3. The issue occurs because after saving the game on Xbox, sometimes the save file doesn't fully commit to the disk. Microsoft are aware of the issue and are working on a firmware update to fix it. In the meantime, Larian Studios suggests that you make an account on Larian Studios via larian.com/account, enable the cross save functionality, then every time you save your game, make sure that the save is uploaded to the Larian servers. For now, it supports the latest 5 saves, but Larian Studios is working to expand that number. Hopefully, this workaround will help for Xbox players that have reported the issue.
