During an interview with a French YouTuber, the Producer of Final Fantasy 7 Remake was asked about the possibility of a Final Fantasy 6 Remake. In the interview, the Producer stated that production of a Final Fantasy 6 Remake would take twice as long as Final Fantasy 7 Remake. perspective, it's already been 10 years in production till now with the launch of Rebirth a month away. The reason why is because there's a lot more characters in Final Fantasy 6 that would need to be developed. It's more likely that a Final Fantasy 9 Remake will happen before a Final Fantasy 6 Remake.
