The Director of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth has said that a performance mode patch is on the way. There has been a lot of feedback about the performance mode, diminishing the look of the game. Hopefully, the patch will be able to fix it. Also, IGN released an interactive map. You'll be able to see all the points of interest in the game if you want to 100% your exploration.
