The President of Xbox Sarah Bond has set up a team, which is dedicated to game preservation. Xbox has always had a good reputation for backwards compatibility when a new generation comes out, and now they want to make sure that they're forward thinking to make sure that future generations of game platforms are compatible with what's available now. Game preservation is very important, in my opinion, because gamers often reminisce about games from their childhood and would love to replay them even decades later.
