Video Games Chronicle posted a very interesting opinion piece suggesting that Fallout 5 should be developed by a different studio rather than Bethesda. The reason why is that with the release of the Fallout 4 next gen update introducing a lot of bugs and also the very long development cycle of Bethesda, they don't want to see Fallout 5 take another 10 years to be released when it's already been (nearly) 10 years since Fallout 4 came out.
