There is speculation that Resident Evil 9 has been delayed internally. Originally, there was speculation that Resident Evil 9 was going to be announced during May or June 2024 and be released during 2025. However, the new speculation is that Resident Evil 9 has been delayed in favour of a different Resident Evil game. As with all speculation, rumour and leaks, please take it with a grain of salt.
