The voice actor of Geralt in The Witcher 3 has said he's returning for The Witcher 4, but he will not be the lead character of the game. It's leading to very strong speculation about who the main protagonist would be. Personally, I share the same sentiment as a lot of the player base and would like to see Ciri become the main character of The Witcher 4. Ciri was playable in The Witcher 3 and by the end of the game she became a powerful badass.
