The creators of Final Fantasy VII Remake and Rebirth had an interview with Anime News Network. In the interview, they spoke about the third and final part of the Final Fantasy VII Remake series. It said that the game will be faithful to the story of the original Final Fantasy VII, but that it will introduce many new elements, including character backstories that'll further enhance the fans enjoyment of the game. They have also previously stated that they would like the third part of the Final Fantasy VII Remake series to be not just the best in the series, but one of the most beloved video games of all time.
