There's been a potential breach of Steam account information. It has been confirmed, however, that the breach didn't come from Steam itself, but potentially from one of the vendors. The advice being released at the moment is ideally you should be using Two Factor Authentication, which is a feature built into Steam via their Steam Guard system on the mobile app. Also as well, there is a debate about how much information was exposed.
