The PlayStation 5 Pro is set to get a big upgrade. Right now, the PlayStation 5 Pro uses Sony's in house PSSR to upscale games. However, according to an interview with Mark Cerny, who is the lead designer of the PlayStation 5 Pro, Sony is now working with AMD on Project Amethyst, which will replace the PSSR with AMD hardware. It's scheduled to release sometime during 2026. How it will affect current PlayStation 5 Pros, I don't know. Do you have a PlayStation 5 Pro?
