The development studio behind Still Wakes The Deep, called The Chinese Room, has gone fully independent. Originally, they were bought out by Sumo Digital back in 2022 for a deal that was worth £919 million. After the success of Still Wakes The Deep, they have been able to reclaim their independence and are now working on two original IPs.
