New World Aeternum Future Is Short

There's been an update about the future of New World. Amazon are laying off up to 30,000 people from their corporate department and the gaming division of Amazon will see some layoffs as well. That will affect Twitch, but also especially at the Amazon Game Studios. The developers of New World have already announced that there will not be any more content updates for the game after Season 10 and that for now the servers will run through 2026 but there's no guarantee they'll run after that. There's even updates to the FAQ section, which talks about what refunds they will allow and not allow. Did you play New World?
