Pearl Abyss have released their second features overview of the upcoming Crimson Desert. They spoke about the different weapon types and abilities that will be available in the game, but they also reminded players that you won't have the unlocked skills right from the beginning of the game. You will have to progress and level up. For example, you can attain new weapons from vendors, but then the materials to upgrade them might be available from a variety of sources. Also, you'll be able to learn skills from powerful enemies or observing them being used in the world, and then use them yourself. Pearl Abyss also updated that there'll be a third and final features overview before the release of the game. Crimson Desert will be releasing on the 19 Mar 2026.
