Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will be releasing on the Nintendo Switch 2 and also the Xbox Series X|S. The Director of the game, Naoki Hamaguchi, said that the reason why the game will not be releasing on the Nintendo Switch 1 is because of hardware limitations. They did briefly consider a cloud version on the Nintendo Switch 1, but ultimately decided against it. The Director also confirmed that there'll be more information about Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 later this year.
