FFXIV Challenge Log Guide: Unlock & Weekly Rewards

The Challenge Log is a collection of weekly objectives that reset every Tuesday. Completing these challenges provides a significant percentage of your current level's experience and substantial Gil rewards.

How to Unlock

To unlock the Challenge Log, you must meet the following requirements:

• Level: 15 or higher
• Quest Requirement: Complete the Main Scenario Quest "Call of the Sea" (Gridania/Limsa/Ul'dah version).
• Unlock Quest: "Rising to the Challenge"
• Location: Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks (X:11.5, Y:10.9)
• NPC: I'tolwann

Maximize Efficiency

As mentioned in the video at [00:00:44], you can maximize your time by doing the following:

• Low-Level Content: Many challenges, such as completing FATEs, do not have a level requirement. You can complete these quickly by doing low-level FATEs in areas like Central Shroud [00:00:50] to secure the bonus EXP for your higher-level jobs [00:01:49].
• Diverse Categories: The log covers Battle, PvP, Levequests, Gathering, Crafting, and Gold Saucer activities [00:01:07].
• Percentage-Based EXP: Because the experience reward scales based on your current level, it is one of the best ways to push through the final few levels of an expansion [00:00:32].
