Windows 11 launched yesterday and some people are very skeptical about doing the upgrade because with any new operating system from Microsoft there's bound to be some hurdles, but I'm sure that Microsoft will smooth them out. Support for Windows 10 is going to be going on all the way until 2025. You have four years to decide, and if you have Windows 10, you'll be able to upgrade to Windows 11 for free. But the question always, given that this is the gaming news, is how is it for gaming performance? There has been rumors about a potential security software issue with Window 11 that might hobble gaming performance, but we have to just wait and see. Personally I am waiting for the big tech reviewers to really dive into Windows 11 to tell us if it's good or bad, such as Linus Tech Tips, for example. The next bit of news for today is Sora has been announced as the last Smash character. They did a big reveal yesterday about who it's going to be, and there was mixed feelings about it, to be honest. They had so many other hopes and dreams of which character would come in. But yeah, the fact that Sora is coming into Smash Brothers, I find that kind of funny. Smash Brothers isn't for me, personally. I did try it a little bit when it came out, just don't like it simple as that. I'm sorry, I'm not a Smash fan, but I know that there is a lot of people who are. And then the last bit of news for today is Far Cry 6 is actually coming out tomorrow, and some big content creators have already had early access the last couple of days, and I've already been releasing gameplay footage of it. But today the embargo for the reviews is over, which means that the reviews for the game will come out today, and the reviews seem quite favorable to be honest. IGN, for example, gave it an 8 out of 10 saying that it smooths a lot of the bumps from the previous games. Personally, thought that Far Cry 5 was really good. If they're saying that Far Cry 6 is even better, so be it. I can't wait to jump into it and coop with my friends to go through Far Cry 6. I'm looking forward to that tomorrow.
