Christina Aguilera Nintendo Collab
Christina Aguilera has teamed up with Nintendo for a partnership campaign. They released an ad which shows Christina Aguilera playing with a friend on on the Nintendo Switch and so on. And they're going to be doing more than that as they go along. It's an interesting collab and hopefully it will bear fruit for both sides.
AWS Server Outages
And then the next bit of news for today is AWS, which is Amazon's Web Services. It's basically like the cloud servers which powers a lot of very popular games like PUBG and VALORANT and so on. has been having a lot of server issues in the last day or so and they know why and they're working on it and they're trying to fix it. But in the meantime, a lot of the big games are being affected, like League of Legends, PUBG, VALORANT, and so on. Know that it's nothing to do with the games, it's to do with AWS, which is the Amazon Web services, and these issues tend to be resolved within hours. When they're fixed it tends to be fixed for years. Hopefully they will fix it sooner than later.
Legacy of the Sith Delayed
And then the last bit of news for today is the Legacy of the Sith expansion for Star Wars The Old Republic has been delayed from 14 Dec 2021 until 15 Feb 2022. They're working on it. They're trying to apply additional polish and so on. And they are still taking feedback on the public test server to improve the game. Simple as that. Know that that expansion has been delayed, but hopefully again for the greater good.
