According to a leak, there is speculation about the release date of Hellblade 2. It should be releasing on the 21 May 2024. As with all leaks, please take it with a grain of salt. Did you play the first Hellblade game? And the next bit of news for today is The Game Awards 2023 was viewed 118,000,000 times, making it the highest viewership of The Game Awards to date. The Game Awards has been growing steadily since the first show back in 2014. There was marked improvements to The Game Awards this year, including more stage security and shorter acceptance speeches. Hopefully, we will see more improvements in future years. Did you watch The Game Awards 2023? And the last bit of news for today is Activision Blizzard have settled an unequal pay lawsuit with the California Civil Rights Department. Activision Blizzard have been ordered to pay female workers $56 million as part of the settlement. This was a lawsuit regarding workers doing the same job but getting different pay based on their gender. This is completely separate to the sexual harassment accusations that have been widespread at the company. Activision Blizzard was also recently acquired by Microsoft.
