The patch targets specific PlayStation 5 Pro features such as PSSR. It also fixes minor issues including audio glitches from the increased horde sizes. They've explained that Silent Hill f is not a direct sequel to any of the Silent Hill games and should be treated independently. The game will be designed specifically to bring in as many new players to Silent Hill as possible.
