The FTC has dropped its case against Microsoft. They launched a complaint because of Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard. They did take it as far as possible, even appealing a rejection, but that appeal was also rejected. The acquisition was actually completed a couple of years ago, but the FTC has finally dropped any resistance to the case. It's potentially good news for gamers because Xbox is opening its doors to be on other platforms. Hopefully, it will mean that we will see games from Activision Blizzard on PlayStation, such as World of Warcraft. Which Activision Blizzard game do you like the most? And the next bit of news for today is a Nier Automata and Call of Duty Mobile collaboration has been announced. Call of Duty Mobile will see Nier Automata themed levels brought into the game as well as different skins for the characters. It will be launching with Season 5 of Call of Duty Mobile on 28 May 2025. Have you played Call of Duty Mobile before? And the last bit of news for today is the original cast of Metal Gear Solid 3 have reunited for the Metal Gear Solid Legacy Series Part 4.
