IGN have released a detailed preview about Of Ash and Steel. The game is an old school RPG set in a medieval setting. The game looks rough around the edges, but hopefully it's fun to play. There isn't a release date yet, announced for the game, but when there is I'll be sure to mention it on the Gaming News. Are you interested in a game like Of Ash And Steel? And the next bit of news for today is there's speculation about Donkey Kong Bonanza. People have noticed from the previews that there's a lot of performance issues in the game. The game will be releasing exclusively on the Nintendo Switch 2 on 17 Jul 2025. However, the Director of the game has stated that it's Nintendo's priority to always focus on the fun of the game, not on the performance. Hopefully they will fix the performance anyway, but it's a lesser priority to Nintendo. Which Donkey Kong game do you like the most? And the last bit of news for today is there's a lot of drama between Krafton and the developers of Subnautica 2. The reason why is because Krafton have fired the senior development team, including the CEO and two of the cofounders of the company (of Subnautica Dev), and potentially have forfeited a $250 million bonus because they delayed Subnautica 2 until next year. However, from that the Senior Staff who were fired are now suing Krafton, saying that the game is ready to go and would have qualified for the $250 million dollar bonus because it could have easily launched during 2025. There's definitely more details about the ongoing drama, but it appears to be getting bigger by the day. When there's an update about the lawsuit, I'll be sure to mention it on the Gaming News.
