Video Transcript

The development studio behind Still Wakes The Deep, called The Chinese Room, has gone fully independent. Originally, they were bought out by Sumo Digital back in 2022 for a deal that was worth £919 million. After the success of Still Wakes The Deep, they have been able to reclaim their independence and are now working on two original IPs. When we know what The Chinese Room is working on next, I'll be sure to mention it on the Gaming News. Have you played Still Wakes The Deep? And the next bit of news for today is there's been an update about the total sales of Ready Or Not. The game released on PC Early Access in December 2023 and topped more than 9 million sales. Some content had to be removed from the console release, but the game was launched successfully on PlayStation and Xbox and achieved more than 1 million sales in less than four days. As a result, Ready or Not has now topped more than 10 million copies sold. Have you played Ready Or Not? And the last bit of news for today is there's apparently been a leak about the potential PlayStation 5 performance of GTA 6. Apparently, GTA 6 is struggling to reach 60 FPS on the base PlayStation 5 and can only hit 60 FPS consistently on the PlayStation 5 Pro. However, there is time between now and 26 May 2026 release date for Rockstar Games and PlayStation to optimize the game for the base PlayStation 5. Would less than 60 FPS stop you from playing GTA 6?
