Apparently, EA will become a private company. That's according to a pay walled article on the Wall Street Journal, where they said private investors, including Silver Lake and Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund are looking to close a $50 billion deal to make the company private. Which game published by EA do you like the most? And the next bit of news for today is Forza Horizon 6 has been announced. The game will have its rumoured setting of Japan and will be releasing on Xbox Series X|S and also PC at sometime during 2026. A PlayStation 5 version of the game will also be releasing, but not on day one. When we know the release date of Forza Horizon 6, I'll be sure to mention it on the Gaming News. Which Forza Horizon game do you like the most? And the last bit of news for today is the Director of the Final Fantasy VII Remake series had an interview with Automation. During the interview he gave an update about the progress of the development of the third game in the series, saying that the game already has a lot of playable content, that the development is going very well and that they've confirmed the name of the third part but they haven't announced it yet, and that the team is united to deliver a third and final high quality send off for the series. He also spoke about the sales of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, which was the second game of the series, saying that while it didn't meet expectations, it's still continuing to sell well. They're hoping the ports, which are releasing on Xbox and Nintendo Switch 2 will sell well as well.
