Apparently, details have started to emerge about the next Xbox. The next Xbox will build on the features that were introduced with the Xbox ROG Ally X and bring a high end premium experience, free multiplayer like on PC, UI built specifically for console as always, but also the ability to play Steam games. Which means that indirectly it will be able to play PlayStation games that have been released on Steam. Apparently, the next generation of Xbox will also be compatible with all previous generations of Xbox games as well. When there's official information about the next Xbox, I'll be sure to mention it on the Gaming News. Do you think the speculation about the next Xbox from Windows Central is realistic or not? And the next bit of news for today is according to the well known leaker Billbil-kun from Dealabs the headline free game that will be introduced for PlayStation Plus Essential during November 2025 will be Stray. As with all leaks, rumors and speculation, please take it with a grain of salt. When we know the official list of games, which PlayStation announce for PlayStation Plus during November 2025, I'll be sure to mention it on the Gaming News. What game would you like to see get added to PlayStation Plus Essential? And the last bit of news for today is the Battle Royale mode for Battlefield 6 has been officially announced. A separate game called Battlefield REDSEC is going to be released tomorrow on 28 Oct* 2025. Apparently, the mode will be free to play and apparently the developers are going to be demonstrating gameplay, also on 28 Oct 2025 at 8 am P.T., which is 4 p.m. for us in the UK.
