Video Transcript

The Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection has been released. It includes 11 classic Mortal Kombat games including some behind the scenes footage and is available on the Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox, PlayStation 4 and 5 and PC via Steam. Which character from Mortal Kombat do you like the most? And the next bit of news for today is there's fresh rumours about Half Life 3. The current rumor is that the game is in development and also a trailer is in development for the game as well. Apparently, unlike other AAA games which will see their release a year after the first trailer, apparently the Half Life 3 trailer will be released shortly before the launch of the game. In my opinion, looking at all the material, it is suggested that the next Half Life game will also be a VR game for the Valve Index, and will have a similar launch to Half Life Alyx. When we get official information About Half Life 3, I'll be sure to mention it on the Gaming News. Have you played a Half Life game before? And the last bit of news for today is Nintendo and The Pokemon Company's patent application for Monster Capture mechanics has been rejected by the Japanese Patent office. Talking as a non legally qualified person, it throws into doubt the other patents, which are pivotal to the lawsuit against the Palworld developer Pocket Pair. In my opinion, it will also lead to the emergence to a lot of other Monster Capture type games. Some patents were granted to Nintendo and The Pokemon Company, such as the US patent on the ability to summon characters in games. However, it was noted that that mechanic was used in games a long time before Pokemon even existed, such as in games like Shin Megami Tensen 1. If there's more updates about the lawsuit, I'll be sure to mention it on the Gaming News. Do you like Monster Capture games?
