Clair Obscur Expedition 33 has had one of its Game of the Year awards stripped away by the Indie Game Awards 2025. The reason why is because of its use of Generative AI. Apparently, the AI assets that were used in Clair Obscur have since been patched out and removed, but the Indie Game Awards took exception and action against the game, because Sandfall Interactive declared that no AI was used in the creation of the game. It released a statement to explain that they have a very hard stance against that. Either way, Clair Obscur Expedition 33 won the most awards ever at The Game Awards 2025. What's your stance towards generative AI? And the next bit of news for today is the next FIFA game is going to be developed by a small studio, which is owned by Netflix. FIFA had a long running licensing agreement with EA to make their games, but that fell through a couple of years ago, and since then EA have been releasing FC Sports games. The FIFA franchise will now be handed over to a different developer, and apparently said game will be released before the next World Cup, which will be taking place Summer 2026. The Royal Edition of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 includes the main game and all the story DLCs as well. The discount is available on PC via Steam and also on Xbox.
