The release date for the demo of Vanran has been announced. The game is described as a fast paced soulslike, which will have huge monsters akin to Shadow of the Colossus. The demo will be available between the 23 and 30 Jan 2026. Are you interested in a game like Vanran? And the next bit of news for today is PlayStation games might play themselves in the future. That's according to a patent from Sony where gamers will be able to use AI technology to play games for them if they get stuck. The idea is that a ghost character will come into the game and assist you if you need it. Other PlayStation games that came out in the last couple of years, like God of War Ragnarok, were very heavily criticized because the companions would help you finish puzzles, when the puzzle started, without giving the player a chance to work it out themselves. With this new technology, maybe you'll be able to do it only if you ask for it. What do you think about assistant characters in video games? And the last bit of news for today is the PC specs for 007 First Light have been released. The game will require a minimum of a RTX 1660 for 1080p30, but ideally a 3060 or higher equivalent if you would like 1080p60. The specs released also detail the other requirements for your PC that are ideal. IO Interactive also released a behind the scenes look at the game and explained how Nvidia is helping them to get the most out of their in house Glacier engine. 007 First Light will be releasing on 27 May 2026.
