Nintendo have released a free update for Donkey Kong Country Returns HD. The update sees the visuals improved on the Nintendo Switch, but especially for the Nintendo Switch 2, and also adds Dixie Kong. And the next bit of news for today is Crimson Desert has now gone Gold. What that means is is that the game is ready to be burned to a master disc and then sold. Crimson Desert will be releasing on 19 Mar 2026. Are you interested in Crimson Desert? And the last bit of news for today is the remake of Prince of Persia Sands of Time has been cancelled. That's along with a major restructuring at Ubisoft, which sees six projects getting cancelled, two studios getting closed and seven other games getting delayed. One of the games getting delayed is the Assassin's Creed Black Flag Remake, which appears to still be in development. Ubisoft has suffered from major stock price falls in the recent past.
