Horizon Hunters Gathering has been announced. It will be a tactical co op action game, which will see up to three players fighting against deadly robot machines. The game will be releasing on PlayStation 5 and PC at some point during 2026. When we know the release date I'll be sure to mention it on the Gaming News. Have you played a Horizon game before? And the next bit of news for today is Pearl Abyss have released their second features overview of the upcoming Crimson Desert. They spoke about the different weapon types and abilities that will be available in the game, but they also reminded players that you won't have the unlocked skills right from the beginning of the game. You will have to progress and level up. For example, you can attain new weapons from vendors, but then the materials to upgrade them might be available from a variety of sources. Also, you'll be able to learn skills from powerful enemies or observing them being used in the world, and then use them yourself. Pearl Abyss also updated that there'll be a third and final features overview before the release of the game. Crimson Desert will be releasing on the 19 Mar 2026. And the last bit of news for today is Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will be releasing on the Nintendo Switch 2 and also the Xbox Series X|S. The Director of the game, Naoki Hamaguchi, said that the reason why the game will not be releasing on the Nintendo Switch 1 is because of hardware limitations. They did briefly consider a cloud version on the Nintendo Switch 1, but ultimately decided against it. The Director also confirmed that there'll be more information about Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 later this year. A popular theory is that it will be called Reunion, but the remake of Crisis Core, Crisis Core Reunion already exists. When we have more official information about Part 3 of Final Fantasy VII Remake, I'll be sure to mention it on the Gaming News. The Nintendo Switch 2 version and the Xbox Series X|S version of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which will include new modes to assist new players, will be releasing on 03 Jun 2026.
