Another gaming industry veteran has unfortunately passed away. Shutaro Iida was known for his work on the Castlevania and also Bloodstained series. He was working on Castlevania since Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow and was even working on the next Bloodstained game, Bloodstained The Scarlet Engagement. Unfortunately, he passed away on 10 Feb 2026 at just 52 years old. Have you played a Castlevania or Bloodstained game before? And the next bit of news for today is the broadcast date for The Future Games Show Spring Showcase 2026 has been announced. It will feature more than 40 games including behind the scenes looks, exclusive trailers, world premieres, and more. It will be broadcast on 12 Mar 2026 at 1 p.m. PT, which is 9 p.m. for us in the UK. What do you hope will be broadcast on The Future Games Show Spring Showcase 2026? And the last bit of news for today is there's been a lot of updates from the developer of Stellar Blade about their future intentions. The sequel to Stellar Blade is already in development, but Stellar Blade 1 is set to release on other consoles including the Xbox and the Nintendo Switch 2. Shift Up is also working on a PC and mobile game called Project Spirits, which will be releasing during 2027.
