The developers of Highguard have announced that the game will be shutting down permanently. While 2 million players tried the action hero shooter, ultimately it didn't live up to the high expectation put on it. Paying a million dollars for a premium ad from The Game Awards does not guarantee success, it just means a lot of people will try the game. Highguard will be shutting down on 12 Mar 2026. Did you play Highguard? And the next bit of news for today is the next Capcom Spotlight has been announced. The 30 minute broadcast will be focused on four games including Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, Pragmata, Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection, and Street Fighter 6. It will be broadcast on the 05 Mar 2026 at 2 p.m. PT, which is 10 p.m. for us in the UK. Do any of these games look interesting to you? And the last bit of news for today is Bandai Namco have announced a new RPG reveal. They released a short teaser trailer of the upcoming RPG, which caused speculation at first that it was related to Sword Art Online because of the tower in the background. However, looking at the character that was walking around towards the end of the trailer, there is now speculation that the game is related to Tales of. The latest Tales of game, Tales of Arise, was released five years ago, and there was also five years between Tales of Arise and its predecessor Tales of Berseria.
