Ubisoft released a tech demo of Micro Polygon Rendering happening within the Anvil engine. That's equivalent to nanite in Unreal Engine 5. The difference is is that the Anvil engine is proprietary to Ubisoft and was first used for Assassin's Creed Shadows. Hopefully, it means that Ubisoft will be able to attain the same technical feats as Epic but using their own engine.
