The BAFTA Game Awards for 2026 was broadcast. The top winners include Clair Obscur Expedition 33, which received 12 nominations, taking home three of the awards, and also Dispatch, which also took home three of the awards. And the next bit of news for today is Pearl Abyss have announced the release window for the next update of Crimson Desert. The update will include keyboard, mouse and controller presets, difficulty settings, category tabs for your inventory and much more. They also warned that the update will be bigger than usual because they are releasing updates for the textures of faraway objects. The patch is scheduled to release next week between the 20-24 Apr 2026. Are you still playing Crimson Desert? And the last bit of news for today is apparently the release date for the upcoming Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced has leaked. Apparently, the game is set to be revealed on 23 Apr 2026. It will be for current gen only, meaning PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and also PC. It will be a full remake and not just a remaster. You'll be able to pet your animal on the ship, said pet being either a cat or a monkey. There'll be improved underwater gameplay, there will be a lot of new content, including new story, and the game apparently is built on the latest iteration of Ubisoft's in house Anvil engine. As with all leaks, rumors and speculation, please take it with a grain of salt. Apparently, Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced will be releasing on the 09 Jul 2026.
