Unfortunately, the French game developer Spiders is shutting down. They created games such as GreedFall, but due to problems with its parent company Nacon and the inability for Nacon to find a buyer for Spiders, the company has now ceased operations. GreedFall 2 released recently and a DLC is still planned to be released via Nacon, but that will then be the end. Have you played any of the games by Spiders? And the next bit of news for today is PlayStation have announced the PlayStation Plus Essential Free games for May 2026. They will be EA Sports FC 26, Wuchang Fallen Feathers and Nine Sols. You'll be able to redeem them from the 05 May 2026 and you can play them anytime in the future as long as you have an active PlayStation Plus account when you try. Do any of these games look interesting to you? And the last bit of news for today is a written Diary has been released for the upcoming Resonance A Plague Tale Legacy. They spoke a little bit how they wanted to keep the Plague Tale games going after the release of Innocence and Requiem and they gave a preview showing that the next game will focus on a 22 year old Sophia, 15 years before the events of the main games, while she is hunting down her former mentor on Minotaur Island. The main character Sophia is voiced by the very talented Anna Demetriou. Episode 2 of the Dev Diary will have an interview with her as well.
