The director of Resident Evil Village explained that originally they wanted to make a Chris Redfield focused DLC for Resident Evil Village but instead they decided to go with Rose Winters, and it has now been confirmed that the Winters family saga is going to be ending with the DLC. I think a Chris Redfield DLC might have been interesting, maybe they have plans for the future, who knows.
