The PC version of Dark Souls Remastered has had its online services restored following the downtime that was experienced across nearly all versions of Dark Souls. This is contrary to the Dark Souls Prepare to Die Edition. That version of the game on PC is offline and will stay offline forever due to aging systems. Dark Souls Remastered has now been restored. If you were looking forward to it returning now you can jump back in.
