Sonic Frontiers has received Patch 1.1 on PlayStation 4 and on PlayStation 5, which includes optimizations for the gameplay, balancing for certain boss fights and more. If you're still playing Sonic Frontiers be sure to download the patch and you'll hopefully get a better experience for the game. Also the Sonic Team have already confirmed that this style of gameplay for Sonic is probably what's going to be in future games as well.
