posting on the Japanese Biohazard Twitter, Capcom have confirmed that a Resident Evil 4 Remake VR mode is in development and it will be available as a free DLC when it's ready. It won't be ready for the launch of the main game, but it will come after. Resident Evil Village VR mode has already garnered a lot of praise so hopefully Resident Evil 4 VR mode will live up to it as well.
