It's now apparent why Baldur's Gate 3 has been delayed on Xbox. Originally, the head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, set a rule every game that came out on Xbox Series X has to also be able to come out on Xbox Series S. The challenge that Larian Studios have been having with Baldur's Gate 3, they've not been able to get the split screen co op working on the Xbox Series S. After a meeting between the Head of Larian Studios and Phil Spencer, they've agreed to launch Baldur's Gate 3 on Xbox Series X in its entirety and Xbox Series S without the split screen co op.
